New Persian Kittens

Taking care of Persian cats has been very popular. Persian cats are cute, with most of their popularity stemming from their long fur coat and the various colors they can have. However, their breed also requires some special attention and a guide for kitten care is recommended.

If you’re thinking of adding Persian kittens into your family home, then you have to think about it carefully: Do you want a full-bred Persian cat? Can you meet the heavy demands for caring for Persian cats? Can you handle having more fur in your home, more than the usual? Even if the answer to all these is yes, it’s better to read up on the actual care for Persian cats, and possibly a little more on their background. If you’re still enthusiastic, then it’s time to look for people who breed their cats for kittens, mostly to sell.  Breeders for Persian kittens are generally easy to find. A quick search in the Internet will result to a lot of offers. Take the time to list the qualities you’d like out of your Persian kittens, and then try to match it up with the deals being offered. You’ll have to pay the adoption fee, and adoption fees for kittens are usually higher than when adopting adult ones.

Take the time to meet the owner, or at least look into the mother and stud cats’ medical and genetic backgrounds. This will help you visualize the healthcare you’ll be able to provide for your Persian kittens, while also giving you the chance to find out more about their temperaments.

Persian kittens, like all cats, will usually take up the social temperaments of their parents; however, they are generally very affection and sweet. While cats are usually inquisitive and naughty, Persian kittens tend to be laid back and generally keep out of your way most of them times. That doesn’t mean they aren’t adverse to any snuggling and hugs! Remember to always keep your Persian kitten indoors; their long fur coats tend to become dirty easily. Allot at least 30 minutes everyday for your kitten’s health care and grooming. Have a brush solely for your Persian kittens, and keep their fur out of tangles and free of dirt. Pet stores always sell brushes specifically made for cat fur, so you can consult them if you have any questions.

Keep track of their growth rate; weight your Persian kittens every week to see if they are gaining the average 50 grams or more every week. If you think there are any complications or if your Persian kittens have turned 5 months old then it may be time to bring your kittens to the vet. Bring the documents for your kittens, including the records you kept and the ones that state their background, just in case the vet has to check for their family’s medical history. Keep up with your Persian kittens’ shots and vaccination schedules for better kitten care of them.

Persian kittens make perfect pets. They usually don’t like climbing, so your things are kept safe (although to be on the safer side, it’s best to keep glass and breakables out of your cat’s reach). They love getting attention, and would think you worthy of being their owners if you give them constant grooming and keep the dust and mud off their fur. The special care for Persian kittens require that you be patient when it comes to their grooming needs, but it can also be the quality time you get to spend with your cat everyday. The connection you and your new kittens build through this can become a very long partnership.
