Caring and Disciplining Your Siamese Kitten

Siamese cats are one of the most famous breeds of cat now chosen by many pet owners. Their long legs and traditional coffee color is famous, although there are now several selective breeding that led to other colors and changes. They are also traditionally long-legged and have slim figures.

Other breeds have been derived from the Siamese cat, but having the traditional for the breeding for kittens is always fulfilling.  Having Siamese kittens in your home can require a lot of work, but it is generally typical for all types of cats. Siamese kittens are mostly endearing, and their temperament makes them ideal for being pets. They like being around humans, especially if they associate their owners as their friends. Most Siamese kittens are also affectionate; this is already genetic as Siamese cats have been in the presence of humans for so long that they have now become comfortable with their presence. It also means that you, as the owner, will have to be patient with your kittens, as they have the tendency to become dependent on you. However, this also means that your Siamese pet will likely not run away (however, to be on the safe side, try looking into putting a tracking chip in your pet so you’ll know which ones are yours and find them if they get lost).

If you’re already looking into getting a specific breed of Siamese kittens, you might want to contact breeders or people who are selling their litters. Paperwork and documentation have to be in order, and if you’re thinking of getting a pure breed with quality background, you’ll have to get hold of the kittens’ and the mother cat’s medical records. This way, you’ll know if there are diseases you’d rather avoid or be aware of, and it will also give you the chance to think about the type of kitten care you’ll want to have for your cat.

Siamese kittens are not unlike other normal cats, except they can be highly dependent on you. Caring for your Siamese kittens means you have to be careful. If they are now able to eat solid food, ease them into

eating wet kitten food for the next few days. Let them get to know their surroundings; Siamese kittens are known for being inquisitive and playful, so keep your frustrations in check, but also be aware of mild disciplinary actions that will help train them, such as lightly patting their nose to let them know that they’ve done something wrong. If you have other cats, give them time to get to know your Siamese kittens. A new addition to the household can always threaten the status quo of your older cat, but this will even out in a few days or months. You can assess your cats’ reaction to each other by observation.

Caring for your Siamese kittens shouldn’t be too hard, but always remember, as with any care for kittens and cats, make sure to bring them to the vet and to give them regular vaccination shots. Making sure that the kittens health is good should be a top priority when taking care of your new Siamese kittens.
